Call Me Blondie is a visual nonstop show that will bring the Blondie hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s back to life.

Famous songs like Denis, Maria, Heart Of Glass, Rapture, Call Me, Atomic, One Way Or Another and The Tide is High are sung by the young and the old. (Blondie’s hits are covered by current artists and often used in movies and commercials. Blondie is still hot!)

Blondie sound & style

Blondie’s musical roots lie in the American new wave and punk scene from the late seventies. But the band didn’t hesitate to dip into other musical styles like reggae, rap, pop, rock and disco. This diversity of musical styles forms a perfect fit for Call Me Blondie. With a surprising act and the recognisable and catchy songs they aim to entertain the young and old alike. Call Me Blondie is especially unique because of their styling, reminiscent of the heyday of Blondie including the hairstyles and various outfits of Debbie Harry, giving the public the idea of watching a real live Blondie performance.

Energetic live shows

In their short existence Call Me Blondie focused on perfecting their performance of Blondie’s music by using the spontaneous and energetic live performances of the band as main inspiration. The hours spent in the rehearsal room have certainly paid off. During live performances in De Vorstin in Hilversum, P3 in Purmerend, The Waterhole and Melody Line in Amsterdam, De Nozem & de Non in Heemskerk and a 2 hour live broadcast of a local radio station, Call Me Blondie brought the audience into rapture with a lot of fun and passion for their music.

A modern edge

With their eye on the future Call Me Blondie focuses on further perfecting their performance. The recreation of the style and sound of Blondie combined with a modern twist and a stage performance using modern day beamer techniques will produce a final mix that will captivate the younger as well as the older crowd.
